More than 10,000 people have signed an online petition urging the Army to let an Iraqi puppy come home with a U.S. soldier, who fears that "Ratchet" could be killed if left behind.

- This is war. Why should I have sympathy for someone trying to kill an American soldier? Perhaps it might have been better if another "innocent man" had thrown another grenade - towards this young man who was captured. Then he could have died a martyr.
